My work explores new conditions produced by the electronic era through reflecting symbolic relationships between art, design, and technology, with emphasis on text. In my media installations videos and images on the screen are shown in an indirect, subtle way. A recent development in my practice is a focus on visual impairment. The lens in the eye of a person with visual impairment is clouded. By designing different patterns out of mylar and projecting images onto or through them I distort the original images in a manner similar to the clouded lens of the eye. My current artistic trajectory is to explore dyslexia where letters, numbers, words, sequences, or verbal explanations cause confusion to people with this condition. In my installation, the text transforms in a way that creates confusion.
